When applying intelligent control module controllers to diesel generator sets, it is necessary to understand the following related knowledge and preparations:
1. Use the brand and model of the engine to verify an ordinary engine or an electronic injection engine. If the EFI engine, the engine itself needs to confirm whether a point is turned on in parallel, for example: Parallel point Perkins, Volvo, Cummins, etc. need to be turned on by the engine manufacturer. In addition, it is necessary to confirm whether the wiring between the ECM or controller and the engine ECU is correct.
2. The brand and model of the speed regulator: For example, the electric control board of Cummins EFC requires a speed control resistor of 120 kiloohms. For ordinary engine electromechanical control boards, you need to know how to connect the terminals on the electric control board to the controller, and how to set the values of sw1 and sw2 in the software. The EFI engine does not require wiring, but the SW1 and SW2 values should also be set in the software.
3. Know the brand and model of avr: pay attention to how the terminal on the avr board is connected to the controller, and how to set the value of sw1 and sw2 on the software.
4. If necessary, the customer can submit the wiring diagram of DSE 7510 or DSE 5510 to the relevant technicians of the generator manufacturer to assist in checking whether the wiring diagram is correct, and to set up the program in advance to save the time for the customer to set up the program on site.
5. The generator factory is ready to abandon its own transformer (transformer and machine), and it is recommended that the generator drooping transformer manufacturer provides it.
6. The controller box is equipped with a resistor. In order to prevent the loss of the resistor from affecting the parallel operation, we recommend that the customer prepare another 120 ohm resistor as a spare. The resistor is used to connect the communication ports H and L of the head controller MSC and the communication ports H and L of the tail controller MSC.

8. In the case of wiring, the communication cables of the MSC shall not be placed in the same wire trough as much as possible to avoid interference.
