Factory diesel generators are generally used as backup power or emergency power. If the factory’s electricity consumption is large, the factory generator set will play a role. In order to ensure that the project’s fire alarm system, fire equipment, accident lighting, elevator, building equipment intelligent control management system and other emergency equipment can work normally.
So what requirements must the generators in the factory meet? Beidou collated the three major conditions that need to be met for factory-generator sets.
1. The power of the diesel generator set must be able to meet the output power of all elevators and fire pumps when the power fails.
2. The power of the generator set for the factory must be selected to meet the power consumption of the plant. Secondly, the generator set for the factory must have the function of automatic start and automatic switching. In the event of an emergency power failure, the generator must be able to automatically start automatic power generation within 30 seconds, automatically close, and the fire pump and elevator can be used normally. When the unit is unattended, it can automatically start and stop the unit automatically, automatically switch between mains and electromechanical, and automatically monitor the running state of the generator.
3. The diesel generator set used in the factory must also meet certain environmental requirements, especially noise. The noise of a general open-frame generator set is above 102 decibels. If the power is normally generated, it will not meet the environmental protection requirements of factory noise. Therefore, noise reduction must be carried out to meet the environmental protection and noise requirements of various industries as much as possible. The silent generator set can reduce the noise to 68-75 dB, and the ultra-quiet unit can reach below 65 dB.
