Abnormal water temperature Since the abnormal water temperature is manifested as too high outlet temperature or too large temperature difference between inlet and outlet, both aspects should be considered when analyzing the reasons. The diesel engine is overloaded or the oil supply angle is too early or too late, because the diesel engine generates a lot of heat, and the cooling system does not meet the requirements, so the water temperature is high. If the water temperature is too high, the reasons should be analyzed mainly from the aspects of heat transfer and heat dissipation.
From the perspective of heat dissipation, when the heat cannot be dissipated, the water temperature of the diesel engine will inevitably be too high. Due to the failure of the coupling, the fan has a large slip, or the air bag clutch slips, so that the fan speed cannot meet the requirements, so the air volume is reduced, and the heat dissipation is insufficient, causing the water temperature of the diesel engine to be too high. The water volume of the high-temperature water pump is insufficient due to failure, or the air in the pipeline creates a gas barrier, resulting in insufficient water volume; or the pipeline leaks resulting in insufficient water volume; or the resistance of the cooling system pipeline and components causes insufficient water volume. As well as insufficient water in the radiator, the heat taken away by the cooling water is reduced, resulting in excessively high water temperature in the diesel engine. The failure of the high temperature water pump (or radiator) reduces the heat dissipation and causes the water temperature of the diesel engine to be too high. Diesel engine water channels (body, cylinder head) are dirty and blocked, or the casting quality is poor, which makes the water channel flow capacity too small, which reduces the flow of water, thus affecting the heat transfer of the diesel engine to the outside, causing the water temperature of the diesel engine to be too high.
From the analysis of heat transfer, when there is a problem with heat exchange, the heat cannot be transferred out, and the water temperature of the diesel engine is too high. Scaling, fouling or fouling between the fins of the radiator prevents the heat of the water from dissipating to the air. Causes the diesel engine water temperature to be too high. All the reasons for the high water temperature due to the small flow of water are also the reasons for the large water difference between the diesel engine and the diesel engine. Because the heat transfer of the diesel engine is the product of the flow rate of water, the temperature difference, and the specific heat. The specific heat and total heat transfer are constant, so the smaller the flow rate of water, the larger the temperature difference will be.
