What are the methods to check the fault of diesel generator?
1. Partition method. The partition method is to stop the single cylinder of the diesel engine or stop the injection of several or even all cylinders one by one, and observe the work changes before and after the diesel engine and stop the injection of oil. This method is the most effective way to check the working condition of each cylinder, especially the smoke color of each cylinder.
2. Comparative method. Comparison method is widely used. After the failure of diesel generator set, if there is doubt about a component or a system, replace a good quality component or a normal system to observe whether the fault is eliminated. If the fault disappears, it is proved that the fault occurs in this component or this system.
3. Verification method. Verification method is used to check the correctness of the past analysis through tentative adjustment or disassembly of the known fault causes, so as to find out the fault.
4. Instrumentation. Instrument inspection method is the use of instruments or instruments to test the diesel generator set, find out the hidden trouble, understand the performance and condition of the unit.
