The generator is starting to reach its rated speed, and the charging current of the generator may be too small. Secondly, the reasons and countermeasures of this phenomenon are analyzed. This error is usually caused by a poor fuse connection of a single silicon diode lead or a poor contact between the brush and the sliding ring for the following reasons
1. The belt slips
2. Low voltage of the regulator
3. Grounding of magnetic force line of diesel generator and local grounding of excitation coil.
4. Dewelding of diesel generator Si-2 pole tube conductor is interrupted, and single-phase or two-phase connection of armature coil is interrupted
5. The contact between brush and slip ring is not good (slip ring, dust above, excessive wear of carbon brush, insufficient spring pressure, etc.). High contact resistance and low excitation current. This phenomenon requires the following solution approach
1. Check the contact between the diesel generator brush and the slip ring. No abnormality
2. Use the DC voltage block of a multimeter to measure the output voltage of the regulator and find that the output voltage is low.
3. Use the DC voltage block of the multimeter to measure the output voltage of the generator, and the result shows that the output voltage is 5V(disconnect the regulator and battery during measurement). The charging generator is out of order
Four diodes burned out while measuring them. After replacing the diode and installing the diesel generator, the diesel generator runs at the rate of 1300 times per minute. The charge current correction on the dashboard shows 1, indicating that the diesel generator is charged normally.
