The quality of fuel and lubricating oil should be adapted to the structure of the diesel engine. If the diesel contains sulfur or other impurities, during the combustion process will produce acids and other corrosive substances, accelerate the wear of the cylinder; Too much heavy distillate in diesel oil will easily form carbon deposits after combustion, causing abrasive wear between piston ring and cylinder; The viscosity of diesel oil has an effect on the formation of mixture and the reliability of oil supply equipment. For lubricating oil, it affects the rated viscosity and oxidation resistance, which should be used reasonably according to the working conditions of the diesel engine, and must not be used indiscriminately.
The test shows that the friction of diesel engine increases with the increase of speed and load. Because when the load increases, the unit pressure on the friction surface increases, and the thermal condition is poor. When the speed increases, the number of frictions per unit time is half increased, and under the same power, the speed increase is greater than the wear when the load increases. However, too low speed can not ensure good liquid lubrication conditions, but also increase wear, so for a certain diesel engine, there is a suitable working speed range. In addition, when the diesel engine often accelerates, decelerates, stops and starts unstable work, due to frequent changes in speed and load, the diesel engine lubrication conditions are poor, the thermal state is unstable, and the wear increases. Especially in the starting, the crankshaft speed is low, the oil pump is not timely, the refueling temperature is low, the oil viscosity is large, the friction surface is difficult to establish liquid lubrication, and the wear is very serious.
The temperature of the operating environment also has an impact on the wear of the diesel engine. When the temperature is high, the engine is easy to overheat, the viscosity of the lubricating oil is low, and the wear of the parts will increase. When the temperature is low, the lubricating oil viscosity becomes larger, the diesel engine is difficult to start, and the cooling water can not maintain the normal temperature during work, which increases the wear and corrosion of the parts. Diesel engine wear is more serious when starting at low temperature.
The operating temperature of diesel engine is one of the important factors affecting the wear. In the process of use, due to the limitation of the cooling system structure, the change of working load and speed, the change of ambient temperature and other factors, the working temperature of the diesel engine has a wide range of changes. Practice shows that it is advantageous to control the cooling water temperature at 75 ~ 85℃ and the lubricating oil temperature at 75 ~ 95℃.
