The fault of motor starting device of diesel generator set for high altitude is analyzed

In the highland diesel generator set system, electric starting installation is also a place where problems are more likely to occur, and the common problems are as follows.

1.1 Fault signs: Starting the battery machine transmission gear can not enter the mesh

1.2 Cause of the problem:

1.2.1 Starting the motor relay is not done.

① Start button damage or bad fighting.

② The transfer switch contact is burnt out.

(3) Lack of voltage (battery lack of power, circuit system bad or leakage.

Treatment method:

① Repair or replace the start button.

② Disassemble and clear the contact.

③ Inspect electrical lines and batteries.

1.2.2 Starting motor drive gear and diesel generator set flywheel tooth ring can not mesh.

① One side of the gear is heavily worn or fuzzed.

② The middle line of the start motor gear and the flywheel tooth ring is unbending.

③ The clearance between the end face of the starting motor gear and the end face of the flywheel tooth ring is too large or top dead.

④ Start the motor lever decoupling.

Treatment method:

① Check the gear.

② New installation of diesel generator set to eliminate signs of unyielding behavior.

(3) The gap should be within the range of (2.5-5) mm, without adding or reducing gaskets when requested.

④ New device mediation.

⑤ Disassemble the starting motor to stop the test.

⑥ Disassemble the new device.
