Preparation Before Starting
1. Before starting the diesel engine, a comprehensive inspection should be carried out. Special attention should be paid to whether the anchor bolts and the connection and fastening of the driven machinery are reliable, and whether the transmission parts and operating systems are flexible. The diesel engine can only be started after it is correct and without problems.
2. Check and replenish the engine oil so that the oil level is between the upper and lower engraved lines of the oil gauge, add enough cooling water, and turn on the fuel tank switch with enough fuel to check the system for leaks and eliminate them.
3. To eliminate air in the oil circuit, it is recommended to use the stepwise deflation method:
First loosen the bleed screw on the filter, use a hand pressure pump to pump oil, and let the air in the oil passage from the fuel tank to the filter clear, then loosen the bleed screw on the fuel injection pump until there is no air bubbles in the outflowing fuel.
4. Check whether the battery is fully charged. Connect the battery to the circuit and check the circuit power.
Start
1. Set the throttle control handle to the larger fuel supply position, turn the circuit key switch clockwise to turn on the circuit.
2. Turn the start switch to the starting position, and wait for the crankshaft to rotate quickly after the start motor drives the purple oil machine.
3. Each start time should not exceed 10 seconds to protect the starting motor and battery. If it is necessary to start continuously, it should be stopped for 2 minutes before starting. If it fails to start for three consecutive times, the cause should be found out, and the fault should be started before starting.
Run
1. After starting the diesel generator set, it should not run at full load immediately. The purple oil machine should be heated in order to run under no load at low speed. After the cooling water outlet temperature reaches 60 ℃, it is allowed to increase to the maximum speed and put into full load operation.
2. When the diesel engine is running, the speed and load should be slowly increased and decreased, and no increase or sudden drop is allowed.
3. When the diesel engine is running, pay attention to the oil pressure, oil temperature, and cooling water temperature. Pay attention to the smoke color of the exhaust. If overheating, black smoke, knocking sounds and other abnormal phenomena are found, stop and check in time to eliminate them.
4. During the operation of the diesel generator set, pay attention to the operation of the oil and water connections. If leakage is found, it should be eliminated in time.
Stop
1. Before the diesel engine stops, unload the load and gradually stop at the speed.
2. It is strictly prohibited to stop when the water temperature is too high.
3. It is not allowed to stop by closing the fuel tank valve to avoid mixing air into the oil circuit.
4. When the air temperature is lower than + 5 ℃, if antifreeze is not used, the cooling water should be drained to prevent frost cracking of the body and water pump.
Safety Technical Operating Procedures
1. Persons who do not understand the use of operating techniques are not allowed to start diesel generators.
2. It is not allowed to start the diesel generator before the preparatory work.
3. When the diesel engine is running, disassembly and adjustment are not allowed, and the operator must not leave the site.
4. It is strictly forbidden to operate the diesel engine when there is no oil pressure, the oil pressure is too low, and there is an abnormal sound inside.
