The switching cabinet (also known as the ATS cabinet, dual power automatic switching cabinet, or dual power automatic conversion cabinet) is mainly used for the automatic switching between the main power supply and the emergency power supply. Together with the self-starting diesel generator set, it forms an automatic emergency power supply system, which can automatically switch emergency lighting, security power supply, fire-fighting equipment and other loads to the generator set after the main power supply is cut off. It is an indispensable power facility for emergency power supply and fire protection power supply in hospitals, banks, telecommunications, airports, radio stations, hotels and factory enterprises. There are two operation methods for the ATS automated electrical cabinet
1. Manual operation mode of the module
After turning on the power key, press the “Manual” key of the module to start it directly. When the unit starts up successfully and operates normally, the automation module will also enter the self-check state at the same time. It will automatically enter the speed-up state. After the speed-up is successful, the unit will enter the automatic closing and grid connection according to the display of the module.
2. Fully automatic operation mode:
Set the module to the “automatic” position, and the unit will enter the quasi-start-up state. In the automatic state, the status of the mains power will be automatically and long-term detected and judged through the external switch signal. Once there is a fault or power loss in the mains power supply, it will immediately enter the automatic start-up state. When the mains power is restored, it will automatically switch to open the circuit breaker, reduce speed and shut down. When the mains power is restored to normal, after 3 seconds of system confirmation, the unit will automatically trip out of the grid, delay for 3 minutes, automatically shut down, and automatically enter the next automatic start-up preparation state.
First, turn on the power key and directly press the “Auto” button. The unit will automatically start to increase speed at the same time. When the Hertz meter, frequency meter and water temperature meter show normal, it will automatically close the switch to supply power and connect to the grid. Quasi-state automatic control, automatic detection of mains power status, automatic start-up of the unit, automatic grid connection, automatic grid disconnection, automatic shutdown, automatic tripping in case of fault, shutdown and alarm.
