The practical methods for checking the performance of diesel generator sets are as follows:
1. Check the startup success rate of the unit
Test method: The test should be in the ready start state in accordance with the technical conditions of the product, every time a start command is given, after the successful start, the power is suddenly increased to 50% of the rated load of 1.0 for 5 minutes, and then shut down. Test 100 times. The startup success rate should be greater than 99%. Otherwise, the item is considered unqualified.
2. Check the average failure interval of the unit
Inspection method: The unit with the rated load of cos =0.8, continuous or cumulative operation of more than 1000h, the diesel engine, the generator should not fail, the control circuit components should not have more than two failures, otherwise, it is considered unqualified. This index allows the assessment in actual operation.
3. Check the operation of the unit with thyristor load
Test method: The load of three-phase thyristor rectifier with cos diameter ≥0.5 should work stably at any point within the range of 10% ~ 50% of the rated capacity of the unit. If there is low-frequency oscillation, it should be adjusted to make it work stably, otherwise it is considered unqualified.
4, check the linkage test of the automation unit
Check method: The two units should be active and standby each other, choose one as the main, manually cut off the mains, the main unit automatically starts successfully after the power supply. Create a fault, so that the main unit automatically shut down the standby unit should automatically supply power after success. The mains is restored to normal, and the standby unit automatically shuts down. If unqualified, find out the reason, troubleshoot. Two units are used as the main, retest three times, if there is still one failure, it is considered to be unqualified.
5. Check the automatic start function of the automatic diesel generator set
Test method: Turn on the starting power supply, move the unit working mode selection switch to automatic, send the starting command, and artificially make the unit start successfully, the unit should automatically start three times. Test three times, as long as there is one failure, the number of retests doubled, if there is still one failure, it is considered to be unqualified.
6, check the automatic supply device of the automatic unit
Test method: After the complete connection of the control circuit circuit, the working mode selection switch is moved to the automatic artificial water and oil discharge to the low level, which should be able to automatically recharge, and when the liquid level rises to the high level, the supply should be able to automatically stop the test for three times, as long as there is one failure, the number of re-tests will be doubled, if there is still one failure, it is considered to be unqualified.
7, check the protection performance of the automation unit
Test method: low oil pressure, high cooling water temperature protection, simulation method; Overvoltage protection adopts the method of adjusting the output voltage; Phase loss protection adopts the method of manually disconnecting one phase. Overload protection Increases the load. Each protection test is three times, as long as there is one failure, the number of retests is doubled, if there is still one failure, it is considered to be unqualified.
8. Check the cooling water and oil heating of the automatic unit
Test method: Turn on the power supply, the heater should be heated when the temperature of water is lower than 15℃, and the heater should stop heating when the temperature reaches 50℃. Turn on the power supply, the heater should be heated when the temperature of the oil is lower than 15 ° C, and the heater should stop heating when the temperature reaches 30 ° C. Each test is conducted three times, as long as there is one failure, the number of retests is doubled, if there is still one failure, it is considered to be unqualified.
