1. The position of the oil supply pipe end of the oil tank should be about 50mm higher than the bottom of the oil tank of the diesel generator set to prevent sediment and water from being sucked into the oil supply pipe; Perforated partitions should be set in the oil supply and return areas of the tank to reduce the heat exchange of the diesel generator set. The fuel capacity in the tank should ensure a daily supply.
2. The tank must be stored in a secure location in case of fire. The tank or oil drum should be placed separately in a prominent place, away from the diesel generator set, and smoking is strictly prohibited; Even when the diesel generator set is shut down, the fuel is not allowed to flow into the diesel engine by gravity through the intake or injection tubing.
3. If the user makes the tank by himself, it should be noted that the tank of the standby diesel generator set is made of stainless steel or steel plate. Do not paint or galvanize the inside of the tank, as they can chemically react with the diesel and create impurities that may damage the diesel generator set and reduce the quality, cleanliness and combustion efficiency of the diesel.
4. When using clean filter elements, the oil nozzle resistance is not allowed to exceed the value specified in the performance data sheet of all diesel generator sets. The resistance value is based on half of the fuel in the tank; The connection of the return line should not cause shock waves in the fuel line of the diesel generator set.
5. After the tank is placed, the maximum oil level cannot be higher than 2.5 meters above the base of the diesel generator set. Daily use should be added between the large depot and the diesel generator set if the oil level is higher than 2.5 m. The tank keeps the pressure of the direct fuel supply from exceeding 2.5 meters.
