2. It is strictly prohibited to start the diesel engine with load. Before starting the diesel engine, pay attention to the output air switch of the generator must be in the off state. After starting the diesel engine of the ordinary generator set, it needs to run for 3-5 minutes at idle speed (about 700 rpm). In winter, the temperature is low, and the idle speed should be extended for a few minutes. After starting the diesel engine, you must first observe whether the oil pressure is normal and whether there are any abnormalities such as oil leakage and water leakage. (Under normal circumstances, the oil pressure must be above 0.2MPa). If an abnormality is found, immediately stop the machine for maintenance. If there is no abnormal phenomenon to increase the speed of the diesel engine to the rated speed of 1500 rpm, at this time the generator displays a frequency of 50HZ and a voltage of 400V, then the output air switch can be closed and put into use. The generator set is not allowed to run without load for a long time. (Because long-term no-load operation will cause the diesel injected by the diesel injector to not completely burn and cause carbon deposits, resulting in valve and piston ring air leakage.) If it is an automated generator set, you do not need to run at idle speed, because automated units are generally Equipped with a water heater, the diesel engine cylinder is always maintained at about 45 ° C. After the diesel engine is started, it can normally transmit power within 8-15 seconds.
3. Pay attention to the working status during operation. In the work of the generator set, there must be a special person on duty, often pay attention to observe a series of failures that may occur, especially pay attention to changes in oil pressure, water temperature, oil temperature, voltage, frequency and other important factors. In addition, we should also pay attention to having enough diesel. If the fuel is interrupted during operation, it will objectively cause a shutdown with load, which may cause damage to the generator excitation control system and related components.
4. It is strictly prohibited to stop with load. Before each stop, the load must be cut off gradually, then the output air switch of the generator set should be turned off, and finally the diesel engine should be decelerated to idle and run for about 3-5 minutes before stopping.
