In order to make the fuel injection pump work normally for a long time, correct use and careful maintenance are essential.
1 Preparation before use
1.1 Wipe off the anti-rust oil on the surface.
1.2 Add the specified grade of lubricating oil to the inner cavity of the governor and the inner cavity of the fuel injection pump. The grade of lubricating oil is in accordance with the relevant regulations in “226B Series Diesel Engine Operation and Maintenance Manual”.
1.3 Connect the fuel to the fuel injection pump pipeline, continuously press the hand fuel pump on the fuel delivery pump, and release the overflow valve to discharge the air until clean fuel is sprayed.
2 fuel
2.1 High quality and qualified fuel must be used. Generally, No. 0 diesel is used in summer; No. 10 diesel is used in winter. When the temperature in winter is -15°C, No. 20 diesel is selected. When the temperature in winter is lower than -30°C, No. 35 diesel is selected.
2.2 The fuel used must be clean and free from any impurities and moisture. For this purpose, the fuel must be allowed to settle for 72 hours before use. Diesel engine filter element and oil pump filter screen should be cleaned regularly. If damaged, they should be replaced in time.
3. The fuel injection pump adopts the forced lubrication method and is connected to the engine lubrication system, and the engine provides lubricating oil. The fuel injection pump should be injected with an appropriate amount of lubricating oil before the first use to prevent the engine from being damaged due to lack of lubrication before the engine starts to supply lubricating oil.
4 Adjustment of fuel supply advance angle
The fuel injection pump should adjust the fuel supply advance angle according to the requirements of the engine. Refer to the diesel engine maintenance manual for the adjustment method of fuel supply advance angle. The fuel supply advance angle has been adjusted when the diesel engine leaves the factory, and users generally do not adjust it easily.
5 Smoke limiter
The fuel injection pump of some supercharged models is equipped with a smoke limiter. When the intake pressure of the diesel engine is too low, it can automatically limit the maximum fuel supply of the fuel injection pump, thereby improving the low-speed smoke of the supercharged diesel engine. When the diesel engine is tested at the factory, the adjustment has been completed, and the user should not adjust it.
6 Special Tips
6.1 In order to protect your legitimate rights and interests, it is strictly forbidden to open the oil seal of the oil pump without permission.
6.2 The factory warranty will be invalid when the fuel injection pump is adjusted or the lead seal is removed.
6.3 Fuel injection The pump is a precision part, the user is not allowed to disassemble it, otherwise the factory guarantee will be invalid.
