Increasing pressure technology is used more and more in modern diesel engines, which makes the oil collector more powerful, and the layout is more reasonable under the condition of constant volume, while greatly saving energy. However, in actual work, many drivers do not know much about the performance, structure and principle of turbochargers, and the phenomenon of damage in a short time is not uncommon, which not only causes greater economic losses, but also affects the normal use of diesel engines. So, how to use the right maintenance to extend the service life of the turbocharger?
1, to ensure the reliable lubrication of the turbocharger according to the requirements of the turbocharger instructions to use the turbocharger engine oil (generally to use CF grade high-quality lubricating oil), and regularly check the quantity and quality of the oil, timely replacement of deteriorated or dirty oil, cleaning or replacing the oil filter, to ensure the high degree of oil cleanliness.
2, to ensure the high degree of cleanliness of the diesel engine intake must maintain the tightness of the pressurized diesel engine inlet and exhaust pipe, regularly clean and maintain the air filter, check whether the nut or bolt is loose, whether the hose clamp is tightened, check whether the intake system has air leakage phenomenon, replace the sealing gasket if necessary, so as to prevent dust and sediment from being sucked into the compressor. Otherwise, dirt can easily lead to the air filter wall plug, compressor channel and booster blade contamination, resulting in a drop in booster pressure, and even cause early wear of blades and diesel engine parts.
3, the new diesel engine or the new supercharger must be added before starting the “oil” for the new diesel engine or the replacement of the supercharger, before starting, it is necessary to remove the inlet pipe joint on the supercharger, fill 50-60mL of oil, to prevent the start of the moment due to lack of oil and burn out the supercharger bearings.
4, the diesel engine before starting, should first shake the crankshaft rotation number of revolutions, to ensure lubrication if possible, should be filled with oil filter and the entire lubrication system, oil pressure is stable before starting. Otherwise, the turbocharger bearing may be damaged due to lack of lubrication during start-up, because when the diesel engine is running off load and the turbocharger speed is very high, even a short few seconds of insufficient oil supply to the turbocharger bearing will cause bearing damage.
5, after the diesel engine starts, it should idle for a few minutes, and then accelerate the operation, otherwise it is easy to cause the supercharger bearing to burn out, especially when the diesel engine to replace the lubricating oil, clean the supercharger, filter or replace the filter element and stop for more than a week, after the start in the idle state, the supercharger on the oil connector to loosen some, When the lubricating oil spills, tighten it again, and then run at a speed of 3-5 minutes before loading.
6, the diesel engine can not idle for a long time, otherwise it is easy to cause the booster oil to leak into the compressor and lead to the exhaust pipe oil injection, increase oil consumption, while a long time idle operation, insufficient oil pressure, but also easy to lead to poor lubrication of the booster and burn out the bearing.
7, After high-speed full load operation of the diesel engine, should not immediately stop and turn off the engine before stopping and turning off the empty operation for about 5 minutes, so that each part of the parts gradually cool to prevent the lack of oil in the supercharger bearing, oil overheating, supercharger bearing and turbine impeller to die, oil seal failure. At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to the use of the diesel engine after stopping the moment to monitor whether there is a collision between the turbocharger impeller and the housing, if there is a collision, the turbocharger should be immediately opened to check whether the bearing clearance is normal.
8. Regularly disassemble, clean and adjust the supercharger according to the requirements of the instruction manual, the supercharger should be cleaned once every 1000 hours (pay attention to the cleaning solution that can not corrodes aluminum and the use of steel wire brush). Check whether the impeller is damaged and fine cracks, the gap between the rotor shaft and the floating bearing, the axial jump momentum of the rotor, the rotor static balance and dynamic balance, etc., if it does not meet the requirements or there is damage, it should be adjusted, repaired or replaced.
